Today we celebrated Spirit Day at FPK by having an outdoor Tailgate Party. We did this to celebrate the end of our spirit month which included collecting items to donate to the Lion’s Pantry at Prattville High School. One of the teachers at the high school started this to collect school supplies and hygiene items for students in need. We collected 252 pencils, 273 pens, 56 binders, 25 folders, 35 packages of notebook paper, 16 spiral notebooks, 43 erasers, 24 dry erase markers, glue and glue sticks, 103 bars of soap, 47 toothbrushes, 33 toothpastes, 55 deodorants, 27 shampoo/conditioners, 23 body washes, 23 laundry detergents, and more! We had a fun day outside having a sack race, playing tug of war, throwing the football, having a hula ring toss, and getting fun tattoos! We love this day at FPK! We ended the morning by having a fun snack.
