We had a super fun day on Monday in Verbena at Sugar Hill picking beautiful, delicious strawberries! The rain that was forecast didn’t even happen, and the sun came out instead! It was a beautiful morning! This was our last field trip of the school year. The children learned how to tell if and when a strawberry is ripe and how to correctly pick one from the plant. Afterwards, everyone enjoyed playing on the playground before heading home. It was a great outing!
